Isn`t "the best way is to send....." wrong?
I think we have two propositions separated by a comma.
The second one is something like I`d rather send it... than tell it.
May I tell you my dream? I`d better send you my dream.

May I tell you something, the best way is to write you.
May I tell you something? I`d better write you.
If you don`t see any difference, if they really aren`t different... Fine, then!
