"tuonne" refers to another place like "go there, go that way". I understand that here it is a question of the same place where the person is already.

I would say "Pysy siellä!".
Also "Jää sinne!" is possible but it does not sound as good...

NB1 Not possible pysy sinne nor jää siellä!
NB2 You can say mene tuonne. You both see the place and you can point there.
NB3 You can also say mene sinne. If you discuss where to go and you agree with what the person says. Or when you explain where to go and continue with mene sinne. The place is not seen, it is somewhere else (or defined by the discussion/situation).

All this has to do with the verb chosen and also the situation. (There could be a combination of these: mene tuonne ja pysy siellä!)

Right, I maybe I should have done it this time... But I didn't realize that with the english translation we could find someone else to try too - and now that I already wrote how I think it should be...
