There is an obligation to strictly respect our text submission rulesThere is an obligation to strictly respect our text submission rules Hello. Before submitting a text for translation, or translating such a text, please familiarise yourself with our text submission rules, since they prevail here. From now on, we will inform neither requesters nor translators why their requests or translations have been rejected and/or removed. Requests which are submitted in ignorance of these rules will be suppressed without further explanation. It will be exactly the same for any translation made from a text which contravenes these rules: [1] NO "TRANSLATION" OF NAMES. Cucumis.org does not accept translations of names anymore, except those of personalities or characters which may appear in long or literary texts. [2] NO DUPLICATE REQUESTS. Before submitting your text to be translated, please perform a search using some significant words of your text to find whether it has already been translated on Cucumis.org. [3] NO HOMEWORK. The goal of Cucumis.org is not to do your homework. This kind of request will be removed by the administrators. [4] NO SINGLE OR ISOLATED WORDS. Cucumis.org is not a dictionary and will not accept requests for translations of single or isolated words when they don’t form a complete sentence with at least one conjugated verb. [5] PUNCTUATION, ACCENTS AND ORIGINAL SCRIPT ARE REQUIRED. If you are a native speaker of the source language in which the text is written, you should observe the script of the language, using all punctuation and accents required by that language. Otherwise, your request may be removed by the administrators. [6] PROOFREAD YOUR TEXT. If you have written or transcribed the text yourself, please check it for errors, even if you don't know the language it is written in. Texts with errors are very difficult to translate. [7] EXPLAIN THE CONTEXT. Write a comment about your request, explaining the context. Unclear texts can lead to removal. [8] NO VULGAR CONTENT. Cucumis.org offers free read-write access to all users, including minors and will not accept requests containing offensive vocabulary or swearwords. [9] OTHER LANGUAGES. When you submit a text, or request a translation into a language, which is not in the list, please specify in the remarks field from which language you submit the text, or into which language you want to see your translated text. | ||||||||
