Hi Via,

Are you sure that "cherish" is the best verb to use here? The sentence sounds strange.

The verb is "kept" actually. I thought it would sound better to substitute it with "cherished". If this is not appropriate, I'll change it.

OK if you want to use "cherish" but wouldn't the sentence be something like:

"I cherished so many words from you." or
"I cherished so many words of yours." ?

Please explain to me the exact meaning in different words, sometimes a simple preposition changes the meaning of a sentence, you know.

The speaker says that he had kept many words for the recipient, i.e. he has so much to tell the recipient when he comes.

Hi ViaLuminosa, Hi Lilly

I would put "for a month and a half"

Hope this helps

I think it would be better to say:
"I cherished so many words to tell you."

What do you think? Does it change the original?

"a month and a half", of course.

I think not. Done, Lili.

Thank you, Tantine.
