Quizás se puede traducir mejor 'los lobos' con 'die Wölfe'.

Context is not clear, therefore I would prefer translation mentioning the word 'the'.

I don't agree with you, because plural general nouns in German don't take the determinative article, just like in English (i.e. "Wolves do not cry" ) but unlike Spanish.
The requester has not specified who are these uncrying wolves, so there's no need for articles.
