Translation - English-Swedish - Eveything in life is fleeting, but keep your head upCurrent status Translation
This translation request is "Meaning only". | Eveything in life is fleeting, but keep your head up | |
Eveything in life is fleeting, but keep your head up, because that is the reality of life. Tears in the eyes were the farewell, I hugged the partners when it was time to leave, and went up the road without looking back. |

| Allt flyter på, upp med hakan... | | Target language: Swedish
Allt flyter på, upp med hakan, för det är så livet är. Avskedet var tårdrypande, jag kramade mina polare när det var dags att gå, och gick uppefter vägen utan att se mig om. |

Another Svorsk (i.e. Swedish-Norwegian) translation and I´ll stop your Swedish translations!!!
| | | 31 July 2007 13:09 | | | I´m swedish and has swedish as native language, but I live i Norway and my keyboard is derfor norwegian. Sorry about that, but I was only trying to help.. | | | 31 July 2007 15:00 | | | Hello!
On the original text, partners have a 'pals' sense.
I think it would be better 'vänner', and 'arbetskamrater' on the comments field
(in Brasil, 'parceiros' is used this way sometimes). | | | 31 July 2007 15:37 | | | Mimmidanielsson,
Yes I´ve understood that you have a norwegian keyboard, so do I as I have informed you earlier.
I suggest you try ¨+ o = ö
and ¨+ a = ä
If it works for me when I´m editing your translations then I think it should work for you as well as for me. Please remember that it is a very big difference for a non native swedish reader to see norwegian signs in a swedish text. If you can't try to follow my advice then avoid translating into swedish because you just create a lot of extra work for me with my norwegian keyboard, precisely as for you.
Sarava,
thank you for your advice! The english translation is a bit misleading with 'partners', it becomes a bit misleading for the Swedish translator.
I've changed the text according to your suggestion.
