I want to get to know you, I dont know why Spasty chose "meet" here, maybe the French part says so

"faire votre connaissance" can be "meet" (for the 1st time) or "get acquainted, become acquainted with" in French. But I think it is the second solution here, according to the Arabic sentence, as elmota said.
