Shutter | Commentaires pour la traduction | I think it's SHUTTER because
Merrian-Webster
shutter: a mechanical device that limits the passage of light; especially : a camera component that allows light to enter by opening and closing an aperture
obturator: one (as a prosthetic device) that closes or blocks up an opening (as a fissure in the palate) But of course I'm not sure, not a native speaker.

The same choice has been made I think in danish too. As always, without context, cannot be sure. | | | 18 Janvier 2007 12:14 | | | As Cinderella said, it needs context, even though I think it's "seal". |
