mmm... περαστικούς (pl. οι περαστικοί)?? In this particular case των περαστικών?

If I must decide, I should choose "περαστικός". The principal translation for viandante is just passerby or wayfarer (to wander is maybe “vagare” – I guess).

I wouldn't translate it as passerby, so if Περαστικός = he who just happens to pass by
I wouldn't choose it .
A "viandante" is a wayfarer, is someone who wanders.
