viandanti = the passerby/wayfarer in plural?

mmm... περαστικούς (pl. οι περαστικοί)?? In this particular case των περαστικών?

Εσύ ξέρεις ιταλικά όχι εγώ Εσύ αποφασίζεις! Εγώ κάτι σκόρπια ξέρω. Περαστικός = he who just happens to pass by. Περιπλανώμενος = he who wanders.

If I must decide, I should choose "περαστικός". The principal translation for viandante is just passerby or wayfarer (to wander is maybe “vagare” – I guess).

Los rayos de la luna indicaban la senda a los transeúntes. (My translation.)

Thanks for the correction ("στους" όχι "των" ) , sometime the genitive is really confusing to me.

¡Muchas gracias! (ευχαριστώ πολύ)

I wouldn't translate it as passerby, so if Περαστικός = he who just happens to pass by
I wouldn't choose it .
A "viandante" is a wayfarer, is someone who wanders.

ΟΚ now it seems like a have a translation to evaluate

I would appreciate it very much if you could help me decide if "viandanti" is περαστικός or not.

I was περαστικός from the town when I heard the news.
(I was passing by the twon when I heard the news)

She was sitting in a cafe watching the περαστικούς go by (the people pass by)

Περιπλανώμενος on the other hand would be used in

The Jews were περιπλανώμενοι for a long time after they were exciled from Israel by the Romans.

There's also οδοιπόρος which means he who travels by foot. A person visiting and seeing a whole country and maybe making a book out of it can also be called so.

Which of these, if any, fit?

Sorry for bothering you guys but I like to get the translations as accurate as possible
