Title
Text
Submitted by pepillou

This doesn't mean that he wanted to forget his past

Target language: English

This doesn't mean that he wanted to forget his past. It certainly wasn't easy for him to integrate. Continuing to live the way he was used to thus allowed him to keep his bearings. So, by means of the newspapers, he rediscovered, if only for a little, his roots. This betrays a feeling of nostalgia toward his country. Also maybe he needed to feel that he belonged to a community to feel at ease.

timoch's translation is not the best.

I would have suggested:

Thank you huyzing, I've edited the translation of timoch.
Timoch, as engish is not your native language, I would suggest that you only translate into english for simple/easy texts. Thank you anyway for your contribution.
