-"trastocamiento" may mean "scompiglio", but not in this case. Here it means "rovesciamento" "inversione".
-"papeles" could mean "carte", but it's "ruoli" here, as in "scambio di ruoli".
-"incordia" is a verb here, "incordiar" and "molestar" are synonyms in Spanish ;the last sentence would be, for instance: "un boia che disturba e che finisce per morire perche molesta".

Here I found the translations of "incordia"
http://rae2.es/incordia
and "papel"

| | | 26 Juliol 2007 12:31 | | guilonNombre de missatges: 1549 | Ricciodimare, I didn't say those weren't acceptable possibilities in general purposes, but in this very translation those words mean what I wrote in my former post. I'm just trying to help to seize the meaning of the Spanish original that is a very difficult one to non native speakers, as I had said in the first place. | | | 28 Juliol 2007 12:16 | | guilonNombre de missatges: 1549 | -"incordia" is not a noun in this case, it's a verb
-"trastocamiento" doesn't mean "confusione", "scompiglio" here, it's "inversione" "scambio" why not "scambio di ruoli"
-"un verdugo que incordia" ="un boia che disturba"
-"acaba muriendo" = "finisce per morire" (il boia) there's no "uccidere" anywhere in Spanish and there is not "avversione" either
-"por molestar" = "perche LUI molesta" (il boia)
I've already explained all of this to Ricciodimare but she doesn't seem to care or to trust me.
And no matter what non native Spanish speakers think, this translation needs a whole lot of edit. | | | 31 Juliol 2007 07:46 | | XiniNombre de missatges: 1655 | Guilon, parti is ok, same as ruoli.
For the remainder, I will wait for Riccio to edit. | | | 31 Juliol 2007 09:13 | | nava91Nombre de missatges: 1268 | English or French translation, guilon?
