Work conquers all. | Nota acerca de la traducción | This is a well known Latin sentence from Virgil's "Georgics". (It has become a frequent motto or slogan within the U.S. labor movement, as well as in many other international movements, unions, brotherhoods, federations, etc...)
Alternatives: Labour conquers all. Work conquers everything. Labour conquers everything. |

Último mensaje | | | | | 8 Enero 2013 21:27 | | | I'd rather say "everything" instead of "all" since "omnia" is neuter and refers to things. But I'm no english native, perhaps I'm wrong. | | | 13 Enero 2013 12:40 | | | @Pashikane:
"All" conveys as well the sense of the term "everything" (thus, one says: "all is lost" or "that's all" ).
That's all. Best regards.
