Nie chcę już Cię znać i widzieć, chcę żebyś...
Text
Submitted by kasieńka
Source language: Polish

Nigdy.

I don't want to know and see you anymore...

Target language: English

I don't want to know or see you anymore, I want you to leave my life. You've hurt me so much, that I can't, even for a moment, think positively about you. I loved you so much, but you've spoilt everything. I'll never forgive you for that. Never.

Hi Aneta,
I think "but you've spoilt all of it" would sound better as:
"but you've spoilt everything"

"I'll never forget you this" or "I'll never forgive you for that"?

Aneta, I'd like to insist that the verb is "forgive" not "forget"

You're the expert, so I've changed it according to the suggestions you made.

Sorry. I'm absentminded a little bit ;-)

That's not a matter of expertise, but of accuracy. Those verbs have completely different meanings.

zapomnieć = forget
wybacz = forgive

Please correct me if I'm wrong

Maybe they have not 'completely' different meaning, but they have indeed. They are quite similar for me, but you're right that yours is more literal. Thanks for yor help!

Lilly, could you change "thing" to "think"? I don't know how I could make this mistake. Well, I must have had poor day today ;-(
