It is a hard one. The grammar is correct, it makes sense, and it matches the original. Logically, it should be correct. But strangely my ears are telling me that is is wrong. 'Free the love' sounds wrong because of 'the'. But 'Free love' also sounds wrong because there is no 'the'! It is a paradox!

Anyhow, I have to agree with Ian's suggestion.

Only the beginning : Free love instead of "the love".
