just a tiny correction:
would like ---> want | | | 2009年 जनवरी 6日 00:19 | | | Hey Lilian,
I'm not sure I agree.
'you want' is 'du willst' in German.
The phrase is definately different.
Some other suggestion?
| | | 2009年 जनवरी 6日 01:36 | | | Jollyo,
sometimes we can't translate a sentence "textually" because it would sound weird in the target language.
I think in this case using "want" in simple present is what sounds better.
Therefore, no, I don't have any other suggestion. | | | 2009年 जनवरी 6日 02:28 | | | I would have to agree with lilian. Although "möchtest" means "you would like," in English, it sounds much better to say "if you want to ask me something" rather than "if you would like to ask me something." | | | 2009年 जनवरी 8日 13:36 | | | | | | 2009年 जनवरी 8日 16:51 | | | Hey ladies,
Sorry, I wasn't there for a while. And back again.
I'll edit the text according your suggestion.
| | | 2009年 जनवरी 8日 18:06 | | | "ein bisschen" actually means "a bit", so you could also say "Please tell me a bit about you!" (instead of "something" ). However, I do not care if it remains the way it is either, because it means the same. | | | 2009年 जनवरी 8日 20:01 | | | |
