Text
Submitted by julibev
Source language: Turks

bir tutam baharatla gitti
çarsi içinde bir gölge
ve yollarina tuz serdi
seni bulayim gizlilerde
baharat, tarçin ve buse
tavan arasinda sakli tarife
ayisigi ve bogaziçi yalniz
o fener bizim çocukluk askimiz
beni biraktigin o gece
Remarks about the translation
Hola por favor, please, alguien puede traducir esta maravilla de canción? Conozco la música,es de la pelicula un toque de canela y es preciosa, imagino que la letra será igual de bonita. Muchas gracias

left with a pinch of spices
Translation
Engels

Translated by kfeto
Target language: Engels

left with a pinch of spices
a shadow in the marketplace
and sowed salt in its wake
let me find you among the hidden
spice, cinnamon and kiss
the recipe hidden in the attic
the moonlight and the bosphorus alone
that lighthouse is our childhood love
the night that you left me

reall a very nice translation !
there is one thing, it must be "garret" or "attic" instead "ceiling" because it's "tavanarası" not "tavan"
and also
the last line should be "the night that you left me"

tnx
"night you left me" or "night that you left me" are both correct first one sounds better to me.
i put "that night" because it says "o gece"
if it said just "biraktigin gece" wouldn't it be
"the night" then?

"that night you left me" means "o gece beni terkettin", isn't it kfeto?
