Adapted from the Gospel according to John, 8:7 (Vulgata edition): “"Qui sine peccato est vestrum primus in illam lapidem mittat” – litterally, word by word: “He who is sinless among you, be the first at her [Mary Magdalan] a strone throw”.

Notice that the Latin text has “be THE FIRST to throw...” and not “throw THE FIRST stone..”. However, I’ve adapted the found translation to reflect the source text in Brazilian Portuguese.
