Thanks a lot for your pacience, Maribel (in all translations).
I was trying to make it sound like a native one.
I think I should start to use a dictionary...röst

I am still uncomfortable with the end...
What about consolation? For me it is another thing than to make me comfortable. Sure it makes me feel better when someone says nice words after I have been hurt or am in agony or been treated badly...

How can I make you comfortable, Maribel?
- Consolate me?
- Comfort me?

I think I should ask what a native woman would say in this occasion.

I am man, and not native!

Two very different worlds for me.

You're welcome! Humor is a funny word in English - its meaning is pretty different from what it means in other languages.

I saw!
The dictionaries I saw have a very different definition from the way we express in portugese and swedish!
But maybe she's telling that the guy is funny. I think girls like it (the girls I met liked this thing on me). Do they?

In Italian we use the English word, if the meaning is "funny".
In the other cases we use the Italian word "umore" (mood).

Now that's really funny!

P.S. Casper, I can't pretend to speak for all women, but we generally like a good sense of humour more than anything else!
