Actually, I've thought of "upside down" and "backwards", but the original is not clear regarding the direction the article should be turned (maybe even the wrong side, if it is possible). So, I opted for "on the contrary", trying to find the most "generic" way.

"on the contrary" means "ao contrário, pelo contrário"
I don't think any of the expressions using "contrary" will fit here.

What about: "in a different position/angle"?
