The city, which has many ancient villages within its borders, is also home to innumerable works belonging to the Byzantine period. These structures, including monasteries, churches, graveyards, and wine presses were built using stone carvings and frescoes. These structures, which have an important place in general Byzantine architecture have not been given Turkish-language consideration on the whole. In the study, these little-known works will be introduced and evaluated.
