Den består av några brev som W. skickade till sin syster i England. Han berättade om hur han på väg till Nordpolen plockade upp Victor Frankenstein Då får man läsa Victor Frankenstein livshistoria.
Han växte upp i Geneve i Schweiz. Efter sina studier började han studera människokroppen, och då upptäckte han lösningen till livets gåta; han kunde ge liv åt döda saker.

It consists in some letter sent by W. to his sister in England. He narrated how, on his way to the North Pole he picked up Victor Frankenstein. Here you will have to read Victor Frankenstein's lifestory.

He grew up in Geneve in Switzerland. After his examinations he started studying the human body and then, he discovered the secret of life. He managed to bring dead beings back to life.

OK Gamine, you've made the edits, however there's still something that doesn't sound well.
Although it may be the exact words used in the original, that expression: 'solution for life' is weird.
Could that be 'secret of (endless) life'?

You don't have to put the ".." in the translation, I removed them.

Lilian. It could be "the secret of life" even if the Swedish word is "Solution". Actually, it sounds much better . It's not "endless" life. He gives people
life back for a moment and then they die again. I have googled it before, that's why I know it, but really like your sentence above . " the secret of life" , it really sounds good to me.
