But as there is already "his watch" lack of pronoun doesn't affect comprehension of the text, does it?
Is it causing any problem with translation into Swedish? If it does, I'll edit and add "he" before "watch", just tell me.

Well, it does affect the understanding, but personally, I think it sounds better if you add "he". . Today I'm not easy to "bargain with".
