I strongly recommend TRT Arabic to those who are currently learning Arabic or those who want to learn Arabic. As we are familiar with the subjects, establishing a connection between Arabic and Turkish is easy. I tried BBC Arabic, but TRT Arabic is totally different.

When --> because (I had used 'as', meaning 'because') I guess it doesn't fit here.

'As we have already known the subjects'?

Sorry, I have changed it to 'because'. Your second suggestion sounds rather convoluted; maybe 'as we are familiar with...'?

Also, does the correspondent know what TRT is? You might want to add a note that it is the state-run Turkish television and radio channel.
