Why "response" when the original says "message"?

I´d personally prefer:

My mobile phone is showing that your sms message is non-compatible
OR
My mobile phone is showing that your sms is a non-compatible message

at din sms besked er en inkompatibel meddelse

What does "besked" mean, and what does "meddelse" mean?

besked= instruction, message, information
meddelse= communicative

OK, then I agree with Anita_Luciano above, but I think incompatible is better than non-compatible.
