Thanks - that is the literal translation and it was what rollingmaster had put here first, but this is a kind of 'set phrase'. I suspect the English way of thinking here is 'I have all this information and this is what it says' whereas Turkish people seem to emphasise the searching through aspect of it: 'I have gone through all the papers = I have researched them and I found that...'. In this case, 'research' would not sound right here.
