I assume that the english word means the same as "Romany" which is the written form used in the ISO 639-2 standard the code being "rom".

Maybe the english one should be changed?

Fine! Interesting article, thank you. I learned again something new: official minority languages in Finland (sami, romani, finnish sign language)!
