just to ask you something about the finnish text, in order to be sure: does 'right'(here)means 'right' as or as 'right arm/ear/eye'?

It means "the one on the right hand side" as e.g. in a photo where two people are boxing and it is explained that the one on the right did not finish the fight but surrendered (=gave up). (It cannot be an arm or an eye because those have no will nor brain to be able to decide to stop.)
