Thank you, Lili. In the translation it's "I was appreciated so much", or even "I got such a high rating" (depending on the context, which is not clear). This is slightly different, isn't it?

Yes, it's quite different.
Actually the original wording is not totally correct, but the meaning is:
"I can't believe that (s/he) received me so well"
