I am also feeling bad! I miss you more and more every day! I miss your face, smile, kisses, touch, messages of good night... Honey, I want to cheer you up. I still don't know how, but I promise I will think of something... Because when you feel bad, I feel even worse... But what holds me in life is that I don't know what tomorrow will bring. Maybe it will bring you to me... |

Please check your translation. There are some misspellings to be corrected. | | | 23 Mart 2009 20:52 | | | I checked it! And correct mistakes that I found! I hope that's it... | | | 23 Mart 2009 21:57 | | | I've made some corrections and set a poll. OK? | | | 23 Mart 2009 21:59 | | | Ok, thank you very much! | | | 24 Mart 2009 20:07 | | | Hi Gaga,
Here are just some minor corrections:
"I miss your face, smile, your kisses, touches, messages for good night... Honey, I want to cheer you up."
I'm not sure if we could say "...when you are bad..." or it should be "...when you are feeling bad...". What do you think, Lilian? | | | 24 Mart 2009 21:45 | | | Thanks, Maki! I wrote "messages for good night", but Lilian corrected it!
I think it can be "when you are bad...", but we will wait to hear what Lilian says! | | | 24 Mart 2009 22:55 | | | Hi girls
Actually, "Because when you are bad, I am even sadder" would not be the most usual wording in English.
I'd say: "(Because)(Since) when you feel bad I feel even worse" or something like: "Your being bad makes me feel even worse"
About "Honey, I want you to be happy" or "Honey, I want to cheer you up", both are grammatically correct. We have to keep the most accurate.
| | | 24 Mart 2009 23:02 | | | Thanks, Lilian, once again!
So, it can be "Because when you feel bad I feel even worse", better then that what I wrote
If it can stay "Honey, I want you to be happy", I'd choose this one! | | | 24 Mart 2009 23:28 | | | I agree with you, Gaga. ("Because when you feel bad I feel even worse" )
But I think "Honey, I want to cheer you up" matches the original more than "Honey, I want you to be happy". | | | 24 Mart 2009 23:35 | | | Yes, I think now that too! Thanks Maki a lot! That's better to choose! | | | 24 Mart 2009 23:38 | | | What is the correct translation for "razveselim"? | | | 24 Mart 2009 23:41 | | | "razveseliti" - "cheer up" | | | 24 Mart 2009 23:44 | | | Oh..so Maki is right. I'll edit that
Thanks Maki | | | 24 Mart 2009 23:58 | | | You're welcome.
I'm glad I could help. |
