One of the alterations brought by the Constitutional Amendment refers to the competence of the labor court to judge indemnity actions stemming from labor relations. However, although the understanding for that alteration was peaceful, a judicial dispute arose with respect to prescription of those actions, without knowing for sure if the prescription of the civil code or of the CLT is applied, for respective indemnity actions.
