"hitta mig eitthvað" does not mean "meet me somewhere", the meaning would be better conveyed by saying "we'll have to meet up <i>sometime</i> when you come to Reykjavik". (Annars líst mér bara vel á!)

The meaning isn't correct. It should be:

Has your icelandic not become good
You have to see me a little when you come to Reykjavíkur, please let me know when you arrive!
