Actually, I tried to forget you for some time. I don't know why but I couldn't. Anyway, from now on I have given up thinking about whether or not you forgot me and instead of wasting time on this, I'm using the time to improve my English to be able to talk each other when one day we meet. I hope you haven't forgotten me.

I have made some minor edits (your original is below) - do let me know if you don't agree.
I have a couple of questions:
- in spite of wasting time -> shouldn't that be 'instead of wasting time'?
- 'I'm wasting time to improve my English' -> shouldn't that be 'I use the time (or my time) to improve my English'?
Thanks!
