Source language: English

If you prick us, do we not bleed? If you tickle us, do we not laugh? If you poison us, do we not die? And if you wrong us, shall we not revenge? If we are like you in the rest, we will resemble you in that.

Shakespeare

Title
O εμπορος της Βενετιας
Translation
Greek

Translated by Aegean_S
Target language: Greek

Αν μας τρυπήσεις, δεν αιμορραγούμε; Αν μας γαργαλίσεις, δε γελάμε; Αν μας δηλητηριάσεις, δεν πεθαίνουμε; Και αν μας αδικήσεις, δεν πρέπει να εκδικηθούμε; Αν είμαστε σαν εσάς στα υπόλοιπα, θα σας μοιάζουμε και σε αυτό.

Remarks about the translation
In English there is no distinction between plural and singular 2nd person. I chose to use the singular second person to translate most verbs. If someone actually knows whether Shakespear intended to use plural or singular just let me know :)
