I'm not sure that "brânză" can translate with "cheese", but the canton can't "made"
Je ne suis pas sûr qu'on puisse traduire "brânză" avec "fromage", mais sûrement le canton ne peut pas être "fabriqué"... Lepurica?

Well my French is worse than your English but Je pense que ni l'un ni l'autre peuvent être traduits.

Oh and Xristos, googling a bit gave me quite a few "official" Greek sites in which Appenzeller wasn't even transcribed in Greek (using Greek characters I mean). Check it out and good luck with your "cheesy" translation/project/whatever (sorry, bad pun but I just couldn't resist!)
