Can we put emphasis on the sentence 'you consumed me' by saying 'you ate me up inside'? If so, It would be better in that way.

I don't agree, because if we translate it (beni bende bitirdin) word by word, the translation will not be meaningful. that's why i chose "consume". I think, this verb expresses same meaning.
