What do you mean by: "I grew obsolete too"?
I became obsolete?

I don't understand the idea. Could you explain with different words?

According to the French translation it should be something like:

"My childhood was left behind. I've also grown older."

Is that right?

"From my childhood I only got behind. I've also grown older."
what do you say?

"From my childhood I only got behind" is not correct.
What do you mean?
My chilhood is far back in time / is over / was left behind ?

Why do you use that "from"? Is it in the original?

Çeviri için teşekkürler. Ancak bir sorum olacak. Gerçi Lilian anlam konusunda itiraz etmiş ama anadili Türkçe olmadığı için metnin tam çevirisini anlayamamış olabilir. Çünkü demek istediğim yaşlandığım değil eskidiğim.
Benim sorum ise yine cümlenin ikinci kısmıyla ilgili. "Bende eskidim" kısmındaki "bende" senin gibi anlamını taşımıyor. Yani "too" sözcüğü ingilizce de tam olarak senin gibi anlamını mı taşıyor. Yoksa buraya daha farklı bir sözcükte getirilebilir mi?
