Le plus dur combat est celui qu'on livre. | | Bonjour je souhaite faire traduire cette phrase car j'ai pour projet de me la faire tatouer en anglais(américain). Cette phrase est liée au combat d'une maladie, donc très importante pour moi.

J'aurais besoin d'un "motto" pareil  Mais la vie ne vaut la peine qu'en se battant pour survivre

We can say : to give a fight/battle.
Can we say "to deliver a fight/battle"?

Yes, I suggest "deliver" as it seems, to me, to be the most appropriate term in English. As a native English speaker, it "rings" much better in my ears than "give". Both are possible, one can either give battle or deliver a battle, but "deliver" gives your text a much more natural feeling
