Hi User10, is it a conjugated verb or a gerund?

It's neither a conjugated verb nor a gerund (there aren't gerunds in Greek). It's present participle but not used as an adjective. "Fighting loneliness", e.g."fighting loneliness I became wiser..."
(
are gerunds and similars allowed?)

Francky? Is only "Fighting loneliness" acceptable?
