çünkü hedef dildeki 'erg hoog kunnen gaan'cümlesi burda yükselme anlamında değil de üstesinden gelme anlamında kullanılmıştır.

Could you post your message in English?
It makes it a lot easier to understand and perhaps respond.
Thank you!

baklavacı mehtap seems to have some trouble working out how the website works
This was her reply:

because the sentence 'erg hoog kunnen gaan'is used as figurative meaning.the figurative meaning is to come over that problem...

Hello native speakers,
Is baklavacı mehtap right when she says that 'to go high' means to overcome the problem? I've never heard the expression but it seems to make sense here.
Thank you

I don't think so - I've never heard the expression either.

My guess is that the first sentence is unrelated to the second sentence. The second sentence is the meat of what they're talking about, but then somehow their conversation got slowed down or interrupted, so the writer is commenting on that.

Brilliant, in that case the translation is ok. Thank you!

Hmm...Yes, I'm not at all sure what the second sentence means either...
If the two sentences are connected, it would seem to mean something like:
Anyway, I'm quite sure we'll be able to use msn to communicate a lot and develop a wonderful relationship!

Thank you!
With a bit of fantasy, I suppose the same could be read in the Dutch translation...
