Time teaches only to become accustomed. To forget? Never! Forgetting you is like forgetting to breathe.

Hi cheesecake
The first sentence doesn't sound well. Could you change that "to get used to"?
Perhaps "Time only teaches conformity/compliance"?

Hmm yes of course, it's much better. But according to the meaning, what about "time only teaches acclimation", does it sound well?

I don't think so.
acclimation = adaptation to a new
climate
(a new temperature or altitude or environment)
compliance = acting according to certain accepted standards
If you don't want to use a noun the correct verb form would be:
"to become accustomed" (not 'to get used to')

OK, so if you think "time only teaches to become accustomed" sounds well, I would like to change it that way?
