"Thanatos" vs "tanatos" seems to me to be a spelling error -- the correct spelling of the word "death" has a theta at the beginning, not a tau. (θάνατος) | | |

I understand that in Greek the first "deaths" is plural, but in English this gives rise to a phrase that feels a little clumsy.
As dramati says above, it looks better as "the death of deaths".
As the translation request is "meaning only" I don't think there is much point in "nitpicking".
