Holiday in the USA, the dream city.
People think the USA is a dream city on festive occasions. Everyone has fun, the children play happily in parks and playgrounds. There are hardly any cars out, all the streets are empty. There are also several facilities in the city.
Poznámky k prekladu
The USA is a country, not a city.
JAV - tai valstybÄ—, o ne miestas.

Hi ollka,

Does the source call the USA a city?

Should I be offended? Yes it does. And it also says 'facilities' without specifying what it means. It's weird.

No, of course not!
Well if they say it's a city, you should translate that way, however for the sake of the knowledge, please in the remark field make clear what it is, ok?

Don't forget "the" before USA.

Also, I'd like to know if the source uses continuous tense as if the person is witnessing a fact?
If not, it would sound better into simple present.

Everyone has fun...
Children play... etc.

See what I mean?

Oof, I'd thought about it and decided it was continuous, but I'm not sure anymore. The text is staggeringly poorly written in terms of grammar. Corrected it.
