| | Hi ramarren,
Is there any conjugated verb in this request? CC: ramarren |

| | I mean: does the request respect our submission rule #4?
[4] ÐИКÐКОГО ОДÐОГО ИЛИ ОТДЕЛЬÐЫХ СЛОВ. Cucumis.org не ÑвлÑетÑÑ Ñловарем и не принимает запроÑÑ‹ на перевод одного Ñлова или отдельных Ñлов, еÑли они не образуют законченное предложение, ÑвÑзанное как минимум одним Ñказуемым |

| | Oh, no... That's the small text... |
| | 24 Aprili 2009 13:59 |
| | Now, it's my turn to ask: what do you mean? |
| | 24 Aprili 2009 15:21 |
| | I mean that this is not a group of single words but a small text, so it does not violate the rule # 4 |
| | 24 Aprili 2009 15:36 |
| | But there is no conjugated verb in it, so it still violates the rule #[4]. |
| | 24 Aprili 2009 23:56 |
| | Maybe if requester added : "these are" to "20 books from the author", this request would be acceptable.
Is it possible to do that ramarren? |
| | 25 Aprili 2009 11:00 |
| | Well, if it is not we'll remove this request. |

Conjugated verb is usually omitted in Ukrainian and Russian, the same way as pronouns are omitted in Spanish... But the translation into English should contain the verb "He is the author of 20 books. "The Tenth Planet is a childish book"." |

| | Hi ramarren, thanks, it's just too bad I didn't know that before, I wouldn't have removed the request.
I'll reset a request into English then.
So, as I don't know any of these two languages (Ukrainian and Russian), I'll often send you a CC about whether there is an implicite verb, or no verb at all.
