| | "domestic appliances" is in my opinion the same meaning as Finnish "talouslaitteet" - The equipments which are used in home: sewing machine, vacuum-cleaner and machines which are used in kitchen. |

I don't know of any home equipment that burns solid fuels. I don't have time to argue here, the world is entering into a dangerous situation with simultaneous financial and fuel crises. |

| | Hi itsatrap
The question here is not the imminent planetary fuel and financial crisis Here the question is what is written in the original text.
I personally know of certain household appliances that work on solid fuel (cookers, heating appliances, lamps and so forth) so if the source text says "household appliances" we need to use the same term.

We will find the best way of saying it in English
Hi Maribel, could you tell me whether this is industrial equipment or household appliances? Thanks a lot

| | I would translate it:"solid fuel powered house furnishing" |

| | What appliances are meant exactly I have no idea, but the word "talouslaitteet" might be household appliances or equipment... (then it could be stove/oven or fireplace for example). |
