| | Accept yourself for who you are, and it will be much easier, to accept others for who they are. |

| | The first line is ackward, better: "the way you are", like in the third line. In the second line the word "du" has no equivalent, maybe add "for you" at the end. |

Jairhaas, you are right about that "du", but IMO it's not nesessary to repeat it here.
PS. I'm sure the English expert (in this case Lilian) wont set a poll if something is "ackward" or strange with the TL. |

| | I would say: accept the way who you are.... |

| gamineNúmero de Mensagens: 4611 | Accept yourself as you are/the way you are |

| | Accept yourself as you are,... |

It seems many of you don't agree with "for who you are". I think it's a matter of taste, to me they have very similar meaning.
Lilian?

| | I don't see anything awkward in the text, if it conveys the meaning of the original I'd accept is the way it is now. |

| | As far as I'm concerned, the repetition should be kept:
accept the way you are... the way they are.
For example |

I think you are right about the concistency, Isildur__ !! jairhass had the same idea. Thanks again for comments everyone. So, if you agreee Lilian, I like to do some edits:
"Accept yourself the way you are,
and it will be much easier,
to accept others the way they are." |
