Accept yourself the way you are, and it will be much easier, to accept others the way they are. |

마지막 글 | | | | | 2010년 1월 27일 04:00 | | | Accept yourself for who you are, and it will be much easier, to accept others for who they are. | | | 2010년 1월 27일 06:11 | | | The first line is ackward, better: "the way you are", like in the third line. In the second line the word "du" has no equivalent, maybe add "for you" at the end. | | | 2010년 1월 27일 09:40 | | | Tanushe, I like your proposal, it makes the text flow better. Thanks
Jairhaas, you are right about that "du", but IMO it's not nesessary to repeat it here.
PS. I'm sure the English expert (in this case Lilian) wont set a poll if something is "ackward" or strange with the TL. | | | 2010년 1월 27일 10:34 | | | I would say: accept the way who you are.... | | | 2010년 1월 27일 14:11 | | | Accept yourself as you are/the way you are | | | 2010년 1월 27일 18:58 | | | Accept yourself as you are,... | | | 2010년 1월 27일 20:22 | | | Thanks for suggestions!
It seems many of you don't agree with "for who you are". I think it's a matter of taste, to me they have very similar meaning.
Lilian?

accept the way you are... the way they are.
For example | | | 2010년 1월 28일 08:36 | | | Hello
I think you are right about the concistency, Isildur__ !! jairhass had the same idea. Thanks again for comments everyone. So, if you agreee Lilian, I like to do some edits:
"Accept yourself the way you are,
and it will be much easier,
to accept others the way they are." |
