Don't speak Turkish, so I have to ask for confirmation.

Does this mean "I missed you a lot, my love."?

Yep, but --> "I miss you" or "I have missed you" (not past tense)

The use of verb forms is a bit different in Finnish, but how do you alfredo feel? Would you like the translation to stay like it is (i missed you a lot laste week f.ex.)? The possible changed version would be: "Olen kaivannut sinua paljon, rakas." (i have missed you a lot during the months we have not met f.ex.)

Very well, now I will accept.

(Really, in Finnish the verb form's main function is to tell when time, normally nothing to do with how often or did it happen only once or anything like that. To tell about those things we mostly use radixes.)

Oops, one thing more. You can use "rakas" but maybe "rakkaani" would be better?
