Translation - Greek-English - MATAKIA MOY

Hmm, verbatim it's OK but take a look at my post here

The words are translated correctly, but the meaning would be "darling" or "honey"

καλύτερα μεταφράζεται ώς honney

Νομίζω ότι δεν έχει το ίδιο νόημα η φράση στα Αγγλικά.

I copy myself:
"Ματάκια μου (ΜΑΤΑΚΙΑ ΜΟΥ) means, literally, "my little eyes". Little here is "cutsy" diminutive like "sweety" I guess.
MATAKIA MOY is a term of endearment like "my sweet", "my honey" etc, although it can also be used between people who do not have an affair (friends, relatives -mother to child i.e.-).
I guess we are looking for an equivalent here though I can't say for sure, but then again you can use any part of this post if you like as notes.

Before I change or delete this thread, how about we find a solution for the translation? I mean we can put this "my little eyes" down as a verbatim translation either in the notes or as a regular translation and explain in the notes.
