The original makes little sense, Lene. Does that have a meaning in French?

Hi Lilian. Sorry not to answer before. Yes, at my opinion it means that loves comes from the sky or from God.

That's what I thought, but the problem is that for having that meaning, the original should be either:
"De arriba viene el amor" or "El amor nace arriba".

This translation is requested from a not native. Couldn't she just had written it in a weird way. If I understand your suggestion the words should be inversed.
I know only a little Spanish but it doesn't seems strange to me. Lilian, you are the expert here. If you think anything should be corrected, please do it or if it should be rejected , kill it.

In Spain at least, "de arriba" means or alludes usually to God or heaven, and then this sentence makes quite a lot of sense, the translation into French seems perfect to me. No problem at all with the "nacer" verb used this way as far as I am concerned.

We all agree about the meaning the line has, what I ask about is the combination of the verb "nacer" with the preposition "de"
I'd say either "nace arriba" or "viene de arriba". See what I mean?
